Additional Information

Andrew Lessman’s ESSENTIAL FACTORS contains high potencies of the five vitamins and minerals that individuals tend to most frequently consume separately or add to their multivitamin. Essential Factors offers a convenient, economical and pH balanced source of five of the most important nutrients found in your diet. Each easy-to-swallow capsule supplies 200 mg of two exceptionally mild and non-acidic forms of Vitamin C. Vitamin C is an extremely important vitamin, supporting numerous body systems, including fat metabolism, while also delivering powerful anti-oxidant protection throughout the body. Its absence from our diet results from our limited consumption of healthy fruits and vegetables. Awareness of this problem has elevated Vitamin C to the status of the most frequently supplemented separate vitamin. Essential Factors also includes 200 mg of Calcium and 200 IU of Vitamin D – the two most essential nutrients for a healthy skeleton. Calcium is the most abundant mineral in our bones and without Vitamin D, you cannot absorb or utilize any of that vital Calcium. Together they provide the most important support for bone health. Even more importantly perhaps is the fact that Vitamin D’s benefits go far beyond the skeleton and recent research suggests that it may well be the most important of all vitamins. Sadly, both of these vital nutrients are lacking from our diet and pose a major threat to long-term skeletal health. Making matters worse is the fact that Calcium is very hard to absorb from supplements and can frequently cause stomach upset, particularly when delivered in the form of tablets, so we only deliver our Calcium in the form of an ultra-fine super-soluble powder in a small, easy-to-swallow capsule that is guaranteed gentle even to the most sensitive stomach. Finally, Essential Factors includes high levels of the most frequently doctor-recommended B-Complex vitamins – Vitamin B12 and Folic Acid. They are essential for energy metabolism, nervous system function, as well as their role in supporting and maintaining homocysteine levels already in the normal range. Also, since Vitamin B12 and Folic Acid are so vital, yet are very easily depleted by stress, they have gone on to become the most frequently supplemented of all the B-Complex vitamins. In short, Essential Factors provides a convenient and economical method of getting the five vitamins and minerals that we separately supplement most.
