Cookie Policy

What cookies Priolix uses, why, and how to manage your preferences.

Overview

Priolix uses a minimal number of cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party marketing tools. Cookies are limited to essential site functionality and optional analytics.

Essential Cookies

The priolix_consent_v1 cookie is essential and cannot be disabled. It stores your consent choice so we don't show the cookie banner on every page visit. It contains no personally identifiable information — only a JSON object with essential, analytics, marketing (always false), and ts (timestamp) fields.

Analytics Cookies

Google Analytics 4 cookies are loaded only after you click "Accept Analytics" in the cookie banner. If you reject or do not consent, no GA scripts or cookies are loaded. We use GA solely to understand aggregate traffic patterns (page views, geographic distribution, device types) to improve the site. We do not track individual users across sessions or sites.

Google Analytics data is processed under Google's data processing terms and is configured with IP anonymization enabled.

Marketing Cookies

Priolix does not use marketing cookies, retargeting pixels, or any third-party advertising technology. This category is included in our consent framework for future-proofing but is never activated.

LocalStorage

We also store your consent preference in localStorage under the key priolix_consent_v1. This mirrors the cookie and allows the consent banner to respect your choice immediately on the next page load. You can clear this via your browser's developer tools.

Managing Your Preferences

  • Change your choice: Clear the priolix_consent_v1 cookie and localStorage entry in your browser settings, then reload the page. The consent banner will reappear.
  • Block all cookies: Use your browser's privacy settings to block first-party and third-party cookies. The site will function normally without analytics cookies.
  • Opt out of Google Analytics: Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Changes to This Policy

If we add new cookie categories, we will update this page and the consent banner will re-present your choices. The "last updated" date at the bottom reflects the most recent change.
