What the Evidence Says

AI-generated · Qwen 3.6 · grounded in 1 source · methodology

Folate is essential for DNA synthesis and amino acid metabolism, with strong evidence supporting its role in supporting healthy homocysteine levels. However, the limited evidence coverage for this specific formulation and a safety score of 60 suggest potential concerns regarding dosage or purity. Users should exercise caution due to these safety considerations.

Formulation Notes

Methyl Folate contains Quatrefolic - the most biologically active form of folate - allowing rapid uptake into the bloodstream. This superior, methylated form of folate is metabolically active and ready for the body to use since it requires no additional conversion to be absorbed. Folate is also necessary for the conversion of homocysteine to methionine. The 5-MTHF in this formula is also known as the "L" form of 5-MTHF since it is the reduced form of folate.

This formula meets or exceeds cGMP Quality Standards.

Does not contain: Milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soy.
