NR (Nicotinamide Riboside) is made in the human body, but production declines dramatically as we age. NR is a precursor to NAD+, a vital molecule that supports metabolic functions as well as klotho and sirtuin production and expression, which in turn harmonize external and internal environment. QuintessenceNR is made with organically grown Schizandra berries from Changbai Mountain, Manchuria. Called "the quintessence of tonic herbs," it is traditionally believed to benefit all organs in the human body. This is the ultimate (quintessential) adaptogenic formulation.
