What the Evidence Says

AI-generated · Qwen 3.6 · grounded in 1 source · methodology

Niacin is used to support cholesterol levels and cardiovascular health, with strong evidence supporting its lipid-lowering effects. However, the safety score indicates potential concerns, as high doses may cause flushing or liver enzyme elevations. Users should be aware of these possible adverse reactions.
