Standardized Garlic 500 mg (5,000 mcg Allicin)

Odor controlled Enteric coated

Garlic has been used therapeutically in many cultures for thousands of years. With its high concentration of sulfur-containing compounds, garlic has consistently demonstrated an ability to support immune function, cardiovascular health and provide antioxidant protection. Many of garlic's biological effects are thought to be related to allicin and other related compounds. Our standardized garlic powder is equal to one-half bulb of fresh garlic and in addition to its allicin yield contains all the naturally occurring sulfur compounds (thiosulfinates and gamma-glutamyl-cysteines) which are inherent to this herb. Each tablet is enteric coated for order control and to avoid stomach acids which can cause allicin decomposition.
