🧪 Formulation Notes

Heart health No fishy aftertaste, one small softgel per day

Unlike fish oils, krill oil carries omega-3s in the form of phospholipids - liposomes or little packages that deliver the fatty acids to your body's cells. Standard fish oils lack this phospholipid complex.

300 mg is the minimum fill per softgel. Due to the natural variability of Walgreens Krill Oil Omega-3, each softgel may include more than 300 mg to ensure label potency.

Heart Health Krill Oil Omega-3 contains omega-3 fatty acids DHA and EPA. Supportive, but not conclusive, research shows that consumption of EPA and DHA Omega-3 fatty acids may reduce the risk of coronary heart disease. Antioxidant Protection The unique antioxidant astaxanthin may protect your from damaging free radicals. Krill oil contains this powerful antioxidant not seen in standard fish oil. Phospholipid Complex What Is Krill Oil? Krill oil contains omega-3 fatty acids, the antioxidant astaxanthin and a phospholipid complex. Krill are small prawn like creatures that feed the world's most mammoth animals - the great whales. Great whales gulp down huge quantities of krill to provide the energy they need to fuel their massive bulk.

Sustainability Krill is one of the largest biomasses in the ocean. It is one of the most abundant and sustainable organisms on the plant. Krill represents a renewable, sustainable and positive nutrition source. Walgreens is committed to only sourcing krill from companies that are complying with sustainable krill harvest practices, further ensuring consciousness of environmental impact.
