We prepare our Calendula Oil from the whole flower of Calendula officinalis plants which are certified organically grown. To assure optimal extraction of Calendula's bioactive compounds, the flower is harvested while in full bloom, and is carefully shade dried to retain its full color & aroma. The flower is then thoroughly extracted and concentrated into cold-pressed, certified organic olive oil.
