Prolonged use may cause potassium depletion and sodium retention resulting in symptoms of hypertension, edema, headache, vertigo. Not for use by persons with hypertension, hyperkalemia, edema, cirrhosis, or the liver and cholestatic liver disorders, and diabetes.
