Xylitol low calorie & low glycemic sweetener
XyliSmart xylitol is a sugar substitute derived from plants. Frequent consumption of between-meal snacks high in sugar and starches can promote tooth decay, while the sugar alcohol xylitol may reduce the risk of dental caries. XyliSmart is known as a low-glycemic index (GI) sweetener due to its slow absorption in the bloodstream, which does not result in the rapid changes in blood glucose concentrations in response to sucrose. XyliSmart xylitol looks and tastes as sweet as sugar, but with 40% fewer calories and without any of the downsides of sugar, and delivers a cool, refreshing after taste.
